I know we talk a lot about Maker’s Mark here, whether about Rob being an ambassador, or just how it is one of our favorite bourbons, even when it is less than one day old.

On a recent trip to the other side of the pond (the UK), I happened upon a bottle of Maker’s Mark Black Label at a whisky store. I had never seen or heard of it before, and with the Β£100 price tag, I couldn’t buy it on a whim.

According to one of the shop owners, it was made only for the Asian market, and supposedly Maker’s Mark will deny it exists. True? Still trying to find out. But please leave your comments here if you’ve tried it – and when we open – we’ll import a bottle ourselves and give you our opinion!
